Established in 1983, Technor is a Norwegian company that supplies the offshore and petrochemical markets with a complete range of electrical products for instalation in hazardous areas (Ex).

In 1997 (march), Technor baught the largest part of Télémécanique Ex range of products and established a subsidiary in France.
Technor has been introduced on the Norwegian trade market in 1997 (july).
Technor Atex, the french part of the group, is located in the suburbs of Angoulême (France).
